Library Media Specialist

  • Amanda Lee

My name is Amanda Lee and I’m the library media specialist here at AASD. I am also the Curriculum and Professional learning coordinator.  I began working at AASD in 2004. Prior to working in the library, I have been a classroom teacher, a Bridges specialist, and an IEP support/state testing coordinator. I am originally from Columbia, SC. I completed my undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. I have also completed a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Georgia State University and most recently an EdS in Instructional Technology and Library Media from Valdosta State University. My family and I live in Brookhaven, GA and we have a little boy. I love reading to him every night and hope that he develops a love for reading, as I have. I love working with all of the students at AASD in the library and hope to help their love of reading develop. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need anything from the library!
