Tatyania Watts

Welcome to CTAE Agriculture Education! I am Tatyania Watts, a recent graduate of Georgia State University. I started with my Bachelor’s in ASL interpreting from Maryville College in Tennessee. After the pandemic, I heard about the need for educators, especially for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. I started at AASD in 2021 as a paraprofessional and quickly realized that teaching would be the next chapter in my book. While serving as a high school science teacher, I earned my Master’s in Deaf Education from GSU. I have always loved plants and growing my own food, and I am excited to inspire our students to learn more about agriculture and the diverse career opportunities it offers.
